The 11th edition of the Air Fair is behind us. The first day, May 26, was dedicated to exhibitors and invited guests from the broadly defined aviation industry. On the 27th of May, the exhibition was open to all visitors. Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S. A. (Military Aviation Works No. 2) were visited not only by many inhabitants of Bydgoszcz, but also enthusiasts from all over Poland. The honorary guest of the event was the Secretary of State in the Ministry of National Defence – Bartosz Kownacki.
Almost 100 exhibitors presented their stands. The visitors took part in symposiums on the latest technological solutions and defence systems for the military and civilian sectors.
We prepared numerous attractions for the participants of the open day, such as dog shows, martial arts and fitness shows. The artistic program consisted of dance and vocal performances. A big attraction for children was the opportunity to paint an airplane. There was also a static exhibition of military and civilian equipment. For the first time ever we offered spectacular flights in three Cessna aircraft. The flights were organised by Graffito Aviation. As we do every year we gave Air Fair awards to innovative companies.
The event was under the Honorary Patronage of the Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence, Bartosz Kownacki, and under the patronage of the Head of the National Security Bureau, the Governor of Kujawy-Pomerania Province, the Marshal of Kujawy-Pomerania Province, the President of Bydgoszcz, the President of the Civil Aviation Authority and the President of the Polish Aero Club.
