The Pozna\u0144 University of Life Sciences<\/strong> and Wojskowe Zak\u0142ady Lotnicze No 2.<\/strong> have established cooperation in the field of unmanned technologies. The agreement signed on March 10 paves the way for joint research, teaching, and implementation activities, combining the scientific potential of the university with the experience of one of the key players in the Polish aviation sector.<\/p>

The agreement was signed by the Pozna\u0144 University of Life Sciences and Wojskowe Zak\u0142ady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. The university was represented by the rector of the Pozna\u0144 University of Life Sciences, Prof. Krzysztof Szoszkiewicz<\/strong>, while the company was represented by the president of the management board, Jakub Gazda, PhD, and a member of the management board and technical director Zbigniew Matuszczak.<\/strong><\/p>

The unmanned technologies being developed today are increasingly dual-use, which means they can be used in both the civil sector and in the field of security. They are used, among others, in precision agriculture, environmental monitoring, and spatial data analysis, but also in the aviation industry. The need for cooperation between science and industry is particularly evident in this area.<\/p>

The signed agreement is also significant in the context of a new field of study at the University of Life Sciences in Pozna\u0144 \u2013 artificial intelligence and unmanned systems, which responds to the growing demand for specialists in the field of drone technology.<\/p>

The event was also attended by representatives of the regional authorities \u2013 Jaros\u0142aw Maciejewski, Deputy Governor of Wielkopolska Province, and Pawe\u0142 Napiera\u0142a, Director of the Regional Program Implementation Department at the Wielkopolska Provincial Office.<\/p>
