S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Campos, Brazil \u2014 June 24, 2026 <\/strong>\u2014Embraer (NYSE: ERJ\/ B3: EMBR3) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Wojskowe Zak\u0142ady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. (WZL\u20112), the leading Polish aerospace maintenance company and a key entity within the Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) Group.<\/p>

Under the agreement, Embraer and WZL\u20112 will jointly prepare a comprehensive framework for future collaboration, encompassing a broad range of capabilities in services and support, <\/span>aircraft completion and conversion, including external painting and system integration.<\/p>

The signing ceremony took place at Embraer facilities with participation of Mr. Pietr Zawieja, Member of the Management Board of PGZ, and Mr. Marcio Monteiro, Chief Marketing Officer of Embraer Defense & Security. This strategic document marks a significant milestone in the development of industrial cooperation between Embraer and its Polish partner, related to the KC\u2011390 Millennium and its associated services and support.<\/p>

\u201cThe agreement signed today marks an important step in building long-term cooperation between WZL No. 2 and Embraer. Our goal is to develop industrial and maintenance capabilities in Poland to support the operation of KC-390 Millennium aircraft, while strengthening the country\u2019s aerospace and defense capabilities. We believe that combining Embraer\u2019s experience with WZL No. 2\u2019s capabilities will bring tangible benefits to both the Polish Armed Forces and the entire Polish defense industry,\u201d<\/em> said Jakub Gazda, President of the Management Board of Wojskowe Zak\u0142ady Lotnicze No. 2 S.A.<\/p>

The KC-390 Millennium, built and designed in the 21st century, is the most modern military transport aircraft in its class. It can carry more payload (26 tons) compared to other medium-sized military transport aircraft, flying faster (470 knots) and farther. It can perform a wide range of missions, including cargo and troop transport, equipment and personnel airdrops, medical evacuation, search and rescue (SAR), firefighting, and humanitarian missions, operating from temporary or unpaved runways. The aircraft, when configured with quick-installation air-to-air refueling equipment (AAR), can operate both as a tanker and as a receiver.<\/p>

In addition to the Brazilian Air Force, this next-generation multi-mission aircraft has been selected by the air forces of Portugal, Hungary, the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, Uzbekistan, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, Slovakia, and Lithuania. The KC-390 Millennium delivers unmatched capability, reliability, versatility, and performance to meet the tactical and strategic needs of air forces worldwide with seamless interoperability.<\/p>

Wojskowe Zak\u0142ady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. (WZL-2) is one of the biggest aviation companies in Poland with 80 years of experience in maintenance, servicing and modernization of military aircraft.
