On June 15–16, Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. participated in the 7th Silesian Aviation, Defense, and Space Industry Days – an event bringing together representatives from industry, academia, and public administration to discuss the future of the aviation, defense, and space sectors.
This year’s edition provided an opportunity for many inspiring conversations, substantive debates, and the building of partnerships that may lead to new projects and initiatives strengthening the competitiveness of the Polish aviation, defense, and space industry. The event’s program included numerous panels dedicated to topics such as financing and investments, dual-use technologies, anti-drone systems, and innovations shaping the industry’s future.
A particularly important part of the conference for us was the panel titled “The Drone Industry in Poland – Does Silesia Have a Chance to Be a Leader? Is Nationwide and European Cooperation, as Well as Joint Projects, Possible?”, in which a representative of WZL No. 2 S.A., Mr. Adam Tomaszewski – System Architect at WZL 2 – took part.
We would like to thank the organizers for their professional preparation of the event, the high level of organization, and for creating a space for a valuable exchange of experiences and discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
