The O.S.A. (Autonomous Systems Center) is being established

Polish Defense Group S.A. is a co-founder of the Autonomous Systems Center (OSA)—a new center of excellence aimed at accelerating the development and implementation of modern technologies for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland.

The ceremonial signing of the agreement establishing the OSA took place last Thursday, March 19, at the Air Force Institute of Technology. The document was signed by the Vice Presidents of the Management Board of PGZ S.A.—Jan Grabowski and Piotr Zawieja—in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defense Cezary Tomczyk.

The Autonomous Systems Center is being established in cooperation between PGZ, military research institutes, and the IDEAS Research Institute. Its activities will focus on integrating the capabilities of science, industry, and the military, which will enable more efficient development and implementation of advanced autonomous systems.

The establishment of the OSA is a significant step toward:

  • the development of modern technologies,
  • shortening the path from research to implementation,
  • strengthening Poland’s defense capabilities.

Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. also participated in this event, presenting the Orlik and Wizjer UAVs, as well as the JET 2 and Szerszeń on launchers.

Investments in modern technologies form the foundation of efforts to enhance national security and modernize the Polish Armed Forces. We are part of this.
