On February 27, 2026, the assumptions and practical effects of the #PolskaSAFE program were presented at the headquarters of PIT-RADWAR S.A. in Kobyłka. The event showed how the initiative translates into a real strengthening of the security and sovereignty of the Republic of Poland and the development of the domestic defense industry.
The #SAFE program is a tool for building the country’s self-sufficiency in key areas of security, and at the same time, it provides a stimulus for the development of Polish companies in the defense sector and the entire chain of cooperating entities.
The event was attended by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who emphasized:
“A well-armed, self-sufficient Poland that cooperates wisely with its allies is the number one priority.”
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz noted that SAFE is a “zone of security and development” and that the equipment acquired under the program will go to units throughout the country.
“Freedom, which needs strength, has gained that strength,” said the head of the Ministry of National Defense.
During the presentation, WZL No 2 presented solutions to strengthen the operational capabilities of the Polish Army in the area of unmanned and strike systems.
SAFE aims to provide Poland with a solid foundation for security and a strong position within the framework of allied cooperation.
The following were presented:
- the Wizjer unmanned aerial system,
- strike drones: DragonFly, Szerszeń, Jet-2, and Młot.
The presented solutions are in line with the modernization priorities of the Polish Armed Forces, including the development of reconnaissance and strike capabilities and increased operational autonomy based on domestic industrial potential.
The #PolskaSAFE program is an investment in modern technologies and military equipment, as well as stable financing for the modernization of the army, new jobs, the development of competencies, and the strengthening of the national supply chain. The initiative aims to provide Poland with a solid foundation for security and a strong position within the framework of allied cooperation.
