We are proud to announce that Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze No. 2 S.A. took part in the event organized by the Silesian Aviation Cluster / Silesian Aviation Cluster, performing the honorable role of the main partner during the 6th Aviation and Drone Days. This celebration brought together key representatives of the aviation, defense and scientific industries, becoming an important forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience.
Our involvement was not limited to the role of a partner – we also actively participated in a panel discussion devoted to civil and military applications of drones (𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐋 𝟑), in which WZL Nr. 2 S.A. was represented by Zbigniew Matuszczak – Technical Director.
The topic of the panel covered the latest technologies and solutions in the field of unmanned aircraft systems, as well as their practical use in the defense and civil sectors. Speakers also included representatives of government institutions, local governments and high-tech companies.
The event consisted of six substantive thematic panels:
- Panel 1: Aviation industry as an example of dual-use industry and technology
- Panel 2: Aviation, development of airport infrastructure, airports and terminals
- Panel 3: Civil and military drones – new solutions, technologies and applications (with participation of WZL No. 2 S.A.).
- Panel 4: Defense industry and its cooperation with the civilian sector
- Panel 5: Innovation – digitalization, AI and cyber security
- Panel 6: Education, research and development in aviation
The participation of Military Aviation Plant No. 2 S.A. in this event confirms our active role in the development of the country’s technological potential and our commitment to integrating the industrial, academic and defense communities. We are pleased that we could co-create such an inspiring event and thank the Silesian Aviation Cluster for the opportunity to cooperate.
