Regional business for state security – meeting at WZL 2

The week began with a meeting devoted to the role of the Pomeranian and Kuyavian economy in the national security system, organized in cooperation with the Employers of Pomerania and Kuyavia organization. The event was hosted by Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. (Military Aviation Works No. 2).

The meeting was opened by Jakub Gazda, President of the Management Board, emphasizing the importance of regional business cooperation in building national resilience and security.

During the event, participants discussed challenges and development opportunities in the area of ​​security and defense, with a particular focus on dual-use technologies, future competencies, human resources development, and organizational resilience in enterprises.

Approximately 50 representatives of companies and institutions from the Pomeranian and Kuyavian regions participated in the meeting. Representatives of Nitro-Chem S.A. were also present among the defense sector representatives. Waldemar Kuczyński spoke at the meeting, presenting the perspective of the defense industry and the challenges facing the industry.

The discussion provided a platform for exchanging experiences and discussing how regional companies can jointly strengthen national security and defense by developing cooperation at the intersection of industry, technology, and expertise.

After the discussion, participants visited Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. (Military Aviation Works No. 2), where they had the opportunity to learn about the company’s potential and capabilities, as well as to see selected areas of the plant’s operations.
