On June 30, 2026, a press conference was held at Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze No. 2 to present the Company’s current situation and its plans for further development. The event was attended by: Adam Leszkiewicz – President of the Management Board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A., Piotr Zawieja – Vice President of the Management Board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A., and Jakub Gazda – President of the Management Board of Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze No. 2 S.A.

Cooperation with the Brazilian company Embraer

On June 24, 2026, Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Brazilian company Embraer. The document establishes the framework for future industrial cooperation regarding support for the operation of the KC-390 Millennium transport aircraft and the development of aviation expertise in Poland. The agreement covers, among other things, the areas of maintenance, aircraft outfitting and conversion, paint finishing, and systems integration. The intended outcomes of this cooperation include building domestic maintenance capabilities for the KC-390 platform, developing the expertise of the Polish defense industry, transferring knowledge and technology, and creating a long-term ecosystem to support the operation of this modern transport aircraft. For WZL No. 2 S.A., this is an important step toward further internationalizing the Company’s operations and strengthening its position as one of the key players in the Polish aerospace and defense sector.

Signing of a Cooperation Agreement with the Bulgarian Company AVIONAMS

One of the most important events during the Hemus 2026 international trade fair in Bulgaria was the signing of a cooperation agreement between Military Aviation Works No. 2 S.A. and the Bulgarian company AVIONAMS. The agreement initiates a process of discussions regarding joint activities in the area of operational support for F-16 aircraft and unmanned systems. The partnership aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise, develop technical and industrial cooperation, and identify future projects that can strengthen the European aerospace and defense industry. During the trade show, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Bulgaria visited the WZL No. 2 S.A. booth. This provided an opportunity to showcase the company’s expertise in aircraft technical support, aviation systems maintenance, and unmanned systems solutions developed by WZL No. 2 S.A. During discussions with representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Bulgaria, the possibility of joint participation in projects funded by the EU’s SAFE instrument was also highlighted, particularly in the area of unmanned systems manufactured by WZL No. 2 S.A., including the WIZJER system. This also represents potential within the framework of SAFE’s international common procurement cooperation.

FA-50 Program

Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. has successfully completed an audit conducted by the manufacturer of the FA-50 aircraft—Korea Aerospace Industries. The audit included an assessment of the processes related to providing operational support services for FA-50GF and FA-50PL aircraft after the warranty period has expired. As a result of the assessment, the manufacturer recommended WZL No. 2 S.A. as the prime contractor for a future contract regarding operational support for FA-50GF aircraft, with KAI serving as a subcontractor. Preparations are currently underway to enable the Company to carry out this task. These include, among other things, training on the LIS logistics system and further discussions with the manufacturer aimed at developing an effective cooperation model. The overarching goal remains ensuring a high level of operational readiness for the FA-50 fleet operated by the Polish Air Force. The FA-50 program is significant for WZL No. 2 S.A. both from the perspective of providing ongoing support to the Polish Armed Forces and further developing the Company’s capabilities in servicing modern aircraft platforms.

ORLIK Unmanned Aerial System

With regard to the ORLIK Unmanned Aerial System, discussions are currently underway with the Armaments Agency to finalize the details of Annex No. 6 to the ongoing project. The dialogue is aimed at clarifying the terms for the program’s continued implementation, which remains one of WZL No. 2 S.A.’s key initiatives in the area of developing domestic capabilities in modern unmanned systems. The ORLIK program is part of a broader effort to build domestic industrial, technological, and operational capabilities in the unmanned aerial systems segment. For the Company, this is also a key element in developing its design, integration, and manufacturing capabilities in the field of modern defense technologies.

WIZJER Unmanned Aerial System

The “Wizjer” UAS is a reconnaissance system designed to support the operations of the Polish Armed Forces. It enables real-time observation and reconnaissance, ensuring high operational effectiveness in a variety of terrain and weather conditions. The system comprises an aerial platform equipped with an optoelectronic sensor, a Ground Control Station, a Ground Data Terminal, and a Portable Video Terminal, enabling the safe execution of missions and immediate analysis of the acquired data. The platform is launched using a launch system, which enhances the system’s reliability and mobility. An additional component of the system is an operations and maintenance vehicle, which serves as a mobile transport, maintenance, and operations center. The modular and flexible body design, developed by Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. in Bydgoszcz, ensures convenient system operation and the possibility of further expansion.

To date, Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. has delivered 24 fully equipped “Wizjer” UAV systems to the Polish Army. Each system includes four aerial platforms (airframes) along with a complete set of equipment.

Ukraine

Furthermore, the Company has the necessary expertise and can provide such services at its Polish facilities. Examples include F-16 and MiG aircraft, which could be repaired and serviced at the Military Aviation Works in Bydgoszcz.

Summary

All of the aforementioned activities—cooperation with Embraer, the agreement with AVIONAMS, the development of expertise
in the FA-50 program, and the continuation of the ORLIK program—demonstrate a consistent direction of development for Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A.

The company is strengthening its position as an entity capable not only of providing advanced repair and maintenance services, but also of participating in international industrial programs, building new technological capabilities, and supporting the modernization of the Polish Armed Forces.
