On Tuesday, September 5, the largest military fair in Poland begins. This is the 31st edition of the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce. Of course we will not miss!
Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S. A. is one of the largest aviation companies in Poland and belongs to an elite group of companies having strategic importance for the economy and defense of Poland.
WZL Nr 2 S. A. has been offering comprehensive maintenance and modernization services including airframes and engines for over 75 years, as part of the one-stop shop formula. In addition to military aviation, the company’s activity in the field of General Aviation is constantly developing. The plant is an Authorized Service Centre for Cirrus and Diamond aircraft under the part CAO approved comprehensive airworthiness organization and part 145 approved maintenance organization for EMBRAER ERJ 170/190 aircraft. The company is also a Manufacturer of Unmanned Aircraft Systems, including UAVS category Tactical Short Range or DragonFly Loitering Ammunition System.
The company is equipped with a very modern machine park. Most components are manufactured on the basis of fully automated, precise and efficient production lines. Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr. 2 S. A. has modern machines for machining (CNC and measuring), modern lines for applying electroplating coatings and a chemical laboratory, professional department of paint shops and stations for non-destructive failure-detection tests (NDT).
As part of the exhibition WZL Nr. 2 S. A. will present a number of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAVS) not only for military purposes, such as DragonFly or observation aircraft Duch (Ghost) of the mini category, but also from the UAV INNOLOT family of platforms for patrol, reconnaissance, as well as research and photogrammetric purposes (platform equipped with a proprietary image navigation system enabling movement in hard-to-reach areas).
In addition, products for military aircraft will be presented during the fair: the interface of the IFF system type CITB-29, the 2E-ME block of the on-board integrated control and warning system “EKRAN”, the control panel of the IFF system type PS-CIT-01, the control panel of the PS-COM-01, TESTER T-PS-CIT-01 and TESTER T-CITB-29, as well as the on-board integrated control and warning system “EKRAN”.
