The Supervisory Board of Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze No. 2 S.A. after conducting the qualification procedure on 30 March this year, appointed Col. Tomasz Kozyra to serve as the President of the Management Board of the company for the 6th term. At the same time, it delegated Jerzy Cukierski, a member of the Supervisory Board, to temporarily perform the duties of a Member of the Management Board until the appointment of a new Member of the Management Board, but no longer than by 2 May 2023.
Colonel Pilot Tomasz Kozyra (retired) has many years of experience in piloting aircraft of various types and at the same time the ability to manage and direct human teams. He is an active General Aviation pilot associated with the Wrocław Aero Club. He was also a test pilot.
He graduated from the Higher School of Air Force Officers in Dęblin (1998) and master’s studies at the Faculty of Pedagogy at the Casimir the Great Bydgoszcz Academy. He completed the postgraduate Command and Staff College at Maxwell AFB, Alabama, USA, where he obtained a Master of Military Operational Art and Science; he completed postgraduate studies in human resources management at the Gniezno Higher School of Humanities and Management “Milenium” and MBA studies at the Higher School of Banking in Wrocław.
From 2020 on, he was associated with Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności (Military Communicatin Plant) No. 2 S.A. in Czernica, where he was the President and previously a member of the Management Board. From 2015 to 2020 he was Head of Training at 1 Wing of Tactical Aviation, from 2011 to 2015 he served as Deputy Squadron Commander and Deputy Group Commander at 21 Tactical Aviation Base. He began his professional military service in the 7th Tactical Aviation Squadron. He is interested in aviation, World War II history, and in basketball.
