Thanks to the signed agreement between WZL2 S. A. and the American company AAR Government Services INC, the F-16, called in Poland “The Hawk”, landed today at the Bydgoszcz airport. The infrastructure of the regional airport plays a key role in the defence system of Poland.
The landing of the General Dynamic F-16 Fighting Falcon was possible thanks to the use of a modern braking system BAK-12 (Barrier Arresting Kit 12), a system consisting of two drum energy absorbers, connected by a arresting rope placed on the runway, thanks to which it is possible to brake the speeding fighter.
