Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze No. 2 S.A. took part in an extraordinary event, which was the Science and Aviation Picnic in Deblin, organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the School of Eaglets – Military Aviation Academy. The celebration attracted many aviation enthusiasts, representatives of the defense industry, academia and a wide range of visitors.

This unique meeting provided an excellent opportunity to celebrate the 100-year tradition of Polish military aviation and to present modern technological solutions. The program of the Picnic was extremely rich – participants could watch spectacular air shows, visit educational and scientific zones, take part in open lectures, and meet with representatives of the scientific and military community. Also of great interest were the intergenerational meetings of aviators, which created a unique atmosphere and allowed the exchange of experiences between generations.

During the event, Military Aircraft Works No. 2 S.A. presented, among others, advanced solutions in the field of unmanned technologies – the Mini Class Unmanned Aircraft System codenamed WIZJER and the DRAGONFLY Circulating Ammunition System. Both systems aroused great interest, as an example of the direction of development of modern operational capabilities of the armed forces in the field of modern technology.

Participation in the Science and Aviation Picnic was for Military Aviation Works No. 2 S.A. not only an opportunity to present its offer and competence, but also an opportunity to honor the rich heritage of the Military Aviation Academy, which has been the cradle of Polish pilots and aviation personnel for decades.
