Electroplating Shop
In 2006 Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. (Military Aviation Works No. 2) began a thorough modernisation of the Electroplating Department. The result is one of the most modern electroplating shops in the region, with the ability to apply both standard and unique galvanic coatings. The quality of the electroplating processes carried out at the plant is confirmed by external audits that confer the rights to issue certificates in respect of national, European, civil and military standards. The investment in a modern waste-water treatment plant has made it possible for the Electroplating Department to work in a closed water circuit system. This resulted in an improvement in the quality of electroplating baths, significant savings, and also has had a significant impact on the environmental protection.

The said standards are the basic option. We approach every inquiry individually and analyse the specified standards and specifications for possible execution.
THE QUALITY OF GALVANIC COATINGS IS ENSURED BY:
- visual check
- coating thickness test using eddy current – non-destructive testing
- corrosion resistance testing in neutral salt spray acc. to: ASTM B 117, DIN 50021, ISO 9227
- galvanic coating microhardness testing
- coating adhesion test using a tape acc. to: FED STD 141, PN-EN ISO 2819
- sealing test using a colour drip test
- abrasion testing of type III anodic coatings
